Waengyai Church is a small church that was planted about two decades ago. They rented a building for many years to meet together for worship and other church activities. But at the peak of Covid, when they were not allowed to gather together in buildings, they started to meet at a plot of land which belonged to a woman named Mrs. Wat. For almost two years they worshipped under the shade of a tree. And when the terror of Covid was over and they could have gone back to renting space for their little church, they decided to stay on because Mrs. Wat donated the plot of land to the church. Slowly the church saved some money and wanted to have a roof over their heads. When missionaries saw their initiative, funds were raised for them and after five years, they are able to have a small building, where they can continue to worship God . Isn’t it wonderful how God started His church building at Waengyai through this one faithful woman’s generous giving?
